Astro : A hard fought DERBY between Vintage and Rockets. Congrats to all players for a game played in great spirit. Rockets certainly had the best of the first 40 mins even though they were 1-0 down. Second half was a different story but Rockets HOLD YOUR HEADS HIGH..you will do well in the B comp.
Elvis : Well while renovating this old house...reading all this guff and living next door to Frost Oval (Kincumber now) I hear the whistle blow and players cheering goals and I am getting seriously twitchy feet! But hey what's this ? a new strip? Had the other two worn out? LOl. Maybe a late season cameo? Cheers all...Elvis

Astro : The association is in a tough spot with the amount of washouts. It was too late to change all the fixtures being as Killarney was not closed until Friday so they simply left all the Fagans fixtures and moved 2 C grade fixtures to 11.45am to complete the C grade round. Not ideal, but they are in a no win situation anyway.
Datsun : No offence to c grade but why would you play there games over opens. Open grade is supposed to be split soon based on points how is this going to be a fair split if no teams can get points because there is no game? Does not make any sense.
Datsun : not looking good for this weekend east gosford have already closed there grounds for this week
Datsun : I think drinks are on vintage
Daz : What a satisfying game last Saturday was against Narara!Especially with high quality players like Paul and Steve in their side. Our sustained concentration and intensity this season are key areas of improvement. Rockets, you did yourselves and the club proud. Well done !
Noellie : Rockets, Great result. Things are starting to come together for you.. "Vintage", never say die, and above all, what great fun to play with you guys, in such a positive fashion, And lately, against very friendly teams. That's saturdays at their best.
Astro : Firstly, my apologies (especially to Noellie) for my non show at the Trivia night. But a huge CONGRATS for what sounded like a great and profitable night. Secondly CONGRATS to Rockets for a sensational result today against the former top of the table team. Thirdly..to all the VINTAGE boys..a great last minute win today in a hard fought and extremely enjoyable game. WELL DONE BOYS!! TOP OF THE TABLE!!!

Vintage Match Report _ Sat 13th June 09

Saints Vintage V Narara
After two weeks of washouts and a long weekend off, we were keen to get back on the park and continue our unbeaten start to the season. Saints Rockets had just played their best game of the season so far, holding table leaders Wyong to a 2-2 draw, so we knew a win today would put us clear table leaders.
Selection headaches for Astro and Dash as we had 4 players out - Adam, Jugsy and Jonesy were unavailable and Mick was a late scratching. Luckily Kenny and Pommie were available from the Rockets after their sensational game so we had 12 players raring to go!!!...
