Grand Final Winners!

Another week of playing a vital game in conditions that were hot as Haites! Plenty of liquids and ice were on hand for the final games of the season which saw the 'Redmen' go down to Wyoming in a spiteful match that got out of hand. Commiserations Redmen, better luck next year.

'Vintage' were playing some nice football but alas, were down 2 -0 at the half time break. Fortunately, the usual dogged persistence of the Vintage paid off (again!) and we were back in the game after getting our first goal and then equalising. Full time and still at 2 -2 meant 20mins extra time and when this didn't break the deadlock, penalties were in order.

Every one of our penalties were taken superbly.... low and hard into the bottom corners, whilst Citigate's were sent outside the target.

Winners are grinners guys!! Well done to all and massive thanks go to all the spectators that came along each week to support us. Get ready for the end of season presentation which will be announced soon!
