Saints FC Statement

William “Bill” Nevins served as the club's Treasurer from May 2017 to August 2022. The all-volunteer Board of Directors at Latham Circle Soccer Club, DBA Saints FC, launched an internal investigation in August 2022, ultimately turning over its findings to the Colonie Police in November 2022.  Since then, we've continually supported the Colonie Police in their ongoing, active investigation. Mr. Nevins now faces formal charges.

Our board is made up of parents, coaches, and community leaders—not paid professionals, but people deeply invested in this club because our kids play here too. We’re heartbroken but resolute in safeguarding the integrity of this club—for our children, and for the community that’s built it over decades.

Thanks to the collective dedication of our coaches, current board members and player families, Saints FC's programs continue to thrive, without interruption. The board remains focused on recovering lost funds and learning from this to improve its financial controls.
